Co-founder and CTO. Leads the science and technology.
Computational biologist and PhD candidate in physics at Umeå University, researching how DNA methylation changes as we age.
Senva grew out of research at Umeå University. We’re building a saliva test that shows how fast you’re ageing and what you can change, analysed and kept safe in Europe.

Co-founder and CEO. Leads strategy, product and partnerships.
Professor of mathematics at Umeå University, working in mathematical biology. He oversees the development of Senva’s model of epigenetic ageing.
Senva grew out of research at Umeå University. We’re supported by the university’s Innovation Office and by Umeå University Holding through its Venture Track programme.
From a research idea at Umeå University to a test you can take at home.
Work begins at Umeå University on our own epigenetic model, built for saliva from the start.
Funding from Umeå University Holding’s Venture Track lets us take the model from research towards a product.
We chose a new name. Senva comes from the Latin sentire, to sense.
The first saliva samples from volunteers went to the lab, the first step in checking the test before launch.
We presented Senva at SKERIC Week, the Sweden-Korea collaboration on education, research and innovation, with KTH Innovation.
The test goes on sale in the EU. Join the waiting list to hear first.
Before launch, we’re testing the test. Volunteers give saliva samples, and repeat samples taken over time show whether results are consistent and how they change. We’ll share more as the work progresses.
We’re building Senva with partners in research, labs and wellness, and we’re glad to talk to investors who share our view of preventive health.
