Know your health. Take charge. Stay healthy for longer.

Senva is a saliva test you take at home. It reads epigenetic marks, the small chemical tags on your DNA that change with how you live, and turns them into clear next steps.

From one saliva sample to concrete steps.

  1. Order online

A saliva kit arrives at your home.

  2. Take the sample at home

No needles. It takes about five minutes.

  3. Analysed in Europe

A European lab measures the marks on your DNA, and our model interprets them.

  4. Act, then test again

Clear next steps on nutrition, movement and sleep. Test again after six months to see what changed.

Epigenetic, not genetic.

Your genetic code stays the same all your life. Epigenetic marks don’t. They shift with age and with how you sleep, move, eat and handle stress, which is why your result can change when you do.

Senva reads a small set of these marks. We don’t analyse your genetic code.

Our own model, developed at Umeå University.

Built for saliva

Trained on saliva, the sample you can give at home.

A few key sites

It reads a compact set of epigenetically relevant sites, which keeps the test affordable.

Not a black box

It shows how sites work together in ageing, so we can explain your result.

Linked to your health

It shows how individual sites relate to health, so your report can point to what matters.

Where we are.

  1. We started building our model.

  2. Funding from Umeå University Holding’s Venture Track.

  3. Launch in the EU.

News.

Pitching Senva at SKERIC Week

We presented Senva at SKERIC Week, the Sweden-Korea collaboration on education, research and innovation, with KTH Innovation, and made many new contacts.

First volunteer samples at the lab

Our first saliva samples from volunteers went to the lab, the first step in validating the test before launch.

EpiVida is now Senva

We have a new name. Senva comes from the Latin sentire, to sense.

Questions.

Is Senva a medical test?

No. Senva is a wellness test that helps you understand your health and what to work on. It doesn’t diagnose disease. If you have health concerns, talk to your doctor.

Do you read my genes?

No. We measure epigenetic marks at a small set of sites. We don’t analyse your genetic code.

Where is my sample analysed?

In a European lab, and your data is handled under the EU’s data protection rules (GDPR).

When can I order?

We plan to launch in the EU in 2027. Join the waiting list and we’ll tell you first.
